Thea Coburn
Operation Manager


A native of Toronto, Ontario, Thea Coburn is thrilled to join the Prince George Symphony Orchestra as Operations Manager commencing in September 2024. Thea holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Toronto where she studied with Professor Timothy Ying. She has been a member of various orchestras including the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de la Francophonie, and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. She taught a studio of young musicians at the Classical Music Conservatory in Toronto for over five years.

 

Outside of classical music, Thea enjoys reading, learning old time fiddle tunes, and has an interest in homesteading. In 2024, Thea travelled across western Canada volunteering on farms as part of World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. She is looking forward to living out west and contributing to the arts community in Prince George.
